This committee was developed to assist in the preparation
of responding to any type of Mass Casualty Incident (MCI). We offer
assistance in the scheduling of educational programs that would keep departments
current with the most up-to-date training resources available, assist in the
planning of mass casualty training exercises and serve as evaluators during
these exercises.
Committee Goals
 | Ensure all providers within the North Central Connecticut region are aware
of this resource and to develop a simple method for contacting and utilizing
the services.
|
 | Develop, perform, and evaluate a tabletop exercise that includes every
service involved in the delivery of care within our region. Invited
participants shall include representatives from both career and volunteer fire
services, state and local police, for-profit and non-profit ambulance
services, hospitals, Federal Emergency Management Agency, Department of
Defense, Department of Environmental Protection, Dispatch Centers, Town
Government, and any other agency that has an interest in participating.
|
